This week, update us on your independent reading by giving a tour of your notebook pages or explaining a theory you are developing about your book. Remember the idea is to start developing a theory about some element the author is crafting in your book: a character, theme, setting, symbol, parallel plots, conflicts, etc. Use your notebook to collect details and then organize the ideas that relate best to the element you're tracking to develop a theory. Let's dig into the science and facts surrounding COVID-19 to help find answers and clear up some confusion. Post a link to an unbiased source. (check the organization/publisher, look for professional language and graphics, and/or search the about page or copyright. If anything looks suspicious, dive deeper and cross-reference with other sites.
After copy and pasting the link in a comment below, give a brief description of the type of information presented in the site. Feel free to paste helpful images or info-graphics as well. We will use these sites to develop discussion next week. |
