Starting the week of April 20th, our online learning will move to Schoology. Please use cvs.schoology.com to log on. Instructions for log in and the app can be found at this link. Remember engaging in this learning is the way to earn credit for this semester.

Week of 4/13:
1. Journal Prompt- practice writing in your notebook by either writing something of your choice or using a prompt from the journal page. Then post at least one paragraph from your notebook to the journal page. Leave positive and constructive feedback for others as well! New prompts are available!
2. Watch one of the grammar focus videos below. Try practicing and playing with that concept in new or existing journals.
3. Continue working on your short story draft. Email me a copy of your draft by Friday and I'll give my feedback! [email protected]
Spring Break 4/6-4/10:
Week of 3/30:
1. Journal Prompt- practice writing in your notebook either writing something of your choice or using the prompt from the journal page. Then post at least one paragraph from your notebook to the journal page. Leave positive and constructive feedback for others as well!
Prompt: Pick a random place on the globe, a place of which you have little knowledge. Research some information and images of the place to give you a sense of setting. Now write as if you are a travel journalist describing a unique experience you had in this place. Think about your audience and angle the story to either excite or deter them from traveling to this place.
2. Watch one of the grammar focus videos below. Try practicing and playing with that concept in new or existing journals.

- Find a new way to enjoy your time away from school! Learn a new card game, ride a bike, cook something delicious, send a letter, play an instrument (anyone still have a recorder?), find a way to help someone close to you...the possibilities are endless!
- Continue writing and catch up on any activities from the past two weeks that you haven't finished yet.
- Check both this site and your school email for updates next week!
